And just in case you were wondering..."WHY ARE THEY CALLED EURO STICKERS?"

Many European license plate designs look similar, making it rather difficult to distinguish one country's plate from the next. In 1969 the United Nations launched a system of vehicle country stickers in order to make things easier. The one, two, or three letters on these 'euro' stickers indicate a car's country. The UN sytem requires the stickers to be horizontal ovals with between one and three black capital letters on a white background.

The current euro stickers trend in the United States generally sticks to the two or three letter concept of the original European stickers; however, since the stickers don't need to indicate country codes, the US designs of custom euro stickers often contain a lot more variation such as colored text, colored backgrounds, logos, and web addresses.
