We accept almost any file format. Preferred formats include .pdf, .eps, .psd, .tif, and .jpg. Vector artwork or higher resolution files are always better (150dpi or higher if possible); however, we will accept any artwork that you have available, and our artwork department will clean up and re-create artwork at no additional charge. If your file type is different from the ones already mentioned, please send it anyway. We will do our best to convert it into a file we can use. If you have any questions regarding your artwork, please contact us at any time.

If you are placing your order online, you will be asked to upload your artwork as one of the steps in the online ordering process. Sticker FAQ

How long will it take to print my stickers?

Typical turnaround for stickers is 3 to 7 business days after artwork approval. If your order is time sensitive, please call us at 1-800-310-7393 and we can give you a more precise time frame.

Can I place a rush order?

Even though our normal sticker turnaround time is very quick, we realize you may need your order ASAP. Rush ordering may be available, depending on the product(s) you are ordering and at what capacity we are running. Rush sticker options include speedier production and shipping times. Please call us at 1-800-310-7393 to discuss cost and availability.

Do you have other sticker sizes available?

Yes, we have hundreds of sizes and shapes available. Our most popular sizes are listed on our website, however if you don’t see what you’re looking for please call and we can find the size and shape that meets your needs.

Can you print custom shapes? (aka "Die-cut stickers")

Yes, we can print custom shape stickers (as opposed to our standard rectangle, square, circle, and oval shapes). In order to print a custom shape, a special die needs to be created. A die is a tool, like a mold or template, used to cut the stickers into your specific shape. Because a special die needs to be created, there is an additional charge and it is not recommended for quantities less than 10,000.

Is white considered a color?

White is not considered a color for sticker printing (except in the case of clear window stickers). If your design is black, white, and red, it would be considered a 2-color design.

What colors can I choose from?

Our standard sticker ink colors (aka "spot colors") are black, red, yellow, dark blue, green, orange, process blue, purple, maroon, brown, violet, rubine, gold, silver, golden yellow, grey, teal, ivory, and hunter. All of these color choices are included in the pricing. If you would like a color not listed, we offer Pantone matches for an additional $50 charge per color (with a Pantone match you can choose any color you like).

sticker ink choices

What is Full Color (4-Color Process)?

Full color or 4-color process, also known as CMYK color model, is used for printing photographic images. Magazines, for example, use 4-color process printing. CMYK refers to the four inks used: cyan, magenta, yellow, and key (black). This contrasts with spot color printing which uses specific colored inks. (Our standard ink colors are considered "spot colors"). Spot color inks include pastels and metallics.

Can you do Pantone matches?

Yes. Each Pantone match color is an additional $50 fee. If you have any questions, please call us at 1-800-310-7393 for details.

Can you print Gradients?

Yes, but we only recommend using them when running a Full Color (4-Color Process) order. Spot color gradients (not full color) can be printed, but they are unpredictable.

Can you print Fluorescent Colors?

Because fluorescent inks fade very, very quickly, we have introduced a line of fluorescent paper stocks including Blue Fluorescent, Orange Fluorescent, Pink Fluorescent, Purple Fluorescent, Red Fluorescent, Yellow Fluorescent, and Green Fluorescent. We can use any of these stocks instead of our standard gloss stock. Although they are not weatherproof stocks, they will give your sticker that 'outstanding' look. Simply include your fluorescent stock color request in the Notes field when placing your online order, or mention it to your customer service rep if placing your order by phone.

What is the difference between indoor stickers and weatherproof stickers?

Our indoor stickers are printed on standard white gloss stock and are recommended for indoor or promotional use. Our weatherproof stickers are printed on white vinyl with a UV over-laminate. They are more durable than our indoor stickers (lasting 2 to 3 years or more) and are fade resistant.

Do you print Vinyl Stickers?

Yes! Our weatherproof stickers are printed on vinyl and include a special weatherproof and fade resistant ultra-violet coating at no extra charge.

Do you offer Metallic Stickers? (also known as foil stickers)

Yes, we offer Shiny Gold Foil, Dull Gold Foil, Shiny Silver Foil, Dull Silver Foil, and even Prismatic and Glitter stocks. We recommend placing your order by phone for metallic stickers, as these are specialty items. (Pricing for gold and silver stocks will be very similar to our standard pricing shown online. For Glitter and Prismatic we will provide a custom quote.)

Can you print Window Stickers?

Yes, we offer clear window stickers, both indoor and weatherproof. Please visit our Clear Stickers page.

Can you print Static Cling Stickers?

Yes! Static cling stickers will adhere to glass or most smooth surfaces by static electricity. Pricing is the same as our weatherproof vinyl stickers. Static cling can be applied to either the front or the back of the sticker. (Car window stickers, for example, are usually placed on the inside of the car and have the static cling applied to the front of the sticker.) To order your stickers with static cling, please call us at 1-800-310-7393.

What is a bleed? Is it important?

If a sticker has a bleed, it means that the ink runs to the edge of the sticker. Providing artwork with a bleed compensates for any shifting that might occur when printing. (If your artwork is already created, or if you created the artwork yourself and don't know how to create a bleed, don't worry! We will adjust your artwork at no additional cost.)

Do I need to provide artwork with a "bleed area"?

No. If a professional graphic designer is creating your stickers, you can request that they include a bleed of .125" on each side. (If, for example, you are ordering 3" x 4" stickers, your artwork should be 3.25" x 4.25"). If your artwork is already created, or if you created the artwork yourself and don't know how to create a bleed, don't worry! We will adjust your artwork at no additional cost.

Does it cost more to have a bleed?

No. There are no additional costs for printing your design with a bleed.

Do the stickers come on a roll?

All of our stickers come pre-cut, making your stickers ‘ready to go’ for handing out, applying to products, etc. If you would prefer your stickers to come on a roll, however, you may select that option when placing your order online or when speaking to a customer sales representative. There is no additional charge for requesting your stickers on a roll.

Do you have design specs available?

Yes. Visit our Artwork Specs page.
